Associate Core Network Engineer (Sta. Rosa Laguna)

Knowledge Requirements:

Collect and analyze key network performance data such as utilization and latency, while ensuring accurate post-incident documentation through comprehensive trouble ticket reporting. Regularly update network diagrams and technical documentation to support effective troubleshooting, conduct routine backups of network configurations and IOS files, and prepare monthly Core Network performance reports to maintain visibility and operational readiness.
Perform basic network checks, gather required information, and identify issues from internal or client tickets.
Handle escalated tickets requiring direct application and network testing, coordinating with internal teams or clients for joint troubleshooting efforts to ensure accurate diagnosis and resolution of complex issues.
Check network configuration consistency and identify conflicts or duplicates.
Collect network issue details and assist in diagnosing problems.
Gather necessary information for internal and external clients to support troubleshooting and network enhancements.
1st Level Hands-on Support as requested by clients.
With background in 1st Level Hands-on Support as requested by client.

Qualifications:

Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or any Information Technology-related course.
With atleast 6 months to 2 years work relevant experience.
Knowledge in Network configuration of small to medium sized LAN and WAN connectivity and basic Network Equipment and Link Monitoring. Knowledge in configuration of Network Monitoring tools. Able to Troubleshoot Internet/IP connectivity. Provides reports/updates and tasks assigned by the Network Support TPE and acts as 1st Level Hands-on Support as requested by clients.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) (Data Center or Routing and Switching) / HCIA (Data Center or Routing and Switching) or JNCIA-Junos
