Senior Business Continuity Management Specialist
Job Description:
- Implement and maintain the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework in alignment with ISO 22301, ISO 31000, and internal policies
- Conduct BCMS assessments and compliance reviews; prepare reports and recommend improvements
- Develop, review, and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs), and Crisis Management Plans
- Perform Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify critical business functions and recovery requirements
- Support IT Disaster Recovery planning, testing, and evaluation of Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs)
- Facilitate incident response, crisis simulations, and recovery exercises; document results and corrective actions
- Monitor BCM performance metrics and prepare management reports
- Coordinate with stakeholders and conduct BCM awareness and training sessions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using PDCA methodology
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in Business Continuity Management, Risk Management, or related fields
- At least 1 year in a supervisory role or experience as a specialist
- Strong knowledge of BCM frameworks, ISO 22301, ISO 31000, and related standards
- Experience in risk assessment, BIA, incident management, and crisis response
- Knowledge of IT Disaster Recovery concepts and coordination
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt or equivalent continuous improvement training
- ISO 31000 Training and integration with BCM
- Training on at least two ISO standards relevant to BCMS (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 20000-1)
